Dianne Fitzgerald (Clinical Psychologist) Dianne is a Clinical Psychologist with a wealth of experience in child and adolescent psychology. In the past decade she has worked in a variety of tertiary-level mental health settings, both in the public and private health sectors. Although her specialty is in child, adolescent and family therapy, she also provides psychological treatment for adults with anxiety and/or depressive disorders. She has extensive experience in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and also provides family counseling and parenting strategies to help families improve the quality of their relationships. Her particular areas of interest include: Adolescent and adult depression, Adolescent deliberate self-harm , Anxiety disorders (e.g. panic attacks, OCD, specific phobias), Stress management and relaxation training, Parenting strategies, Childhood behavioural & emotional problems Dianne is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and is registered with the Health Insurance Commission. Dianne currently practices at the Hornsby rooms on Fridays and Tuesdays. Dr Elizabeth Seeley-Wait (Psychologist) Elizabeth is a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in a wide range of therapies including Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioural Therapies. She has recently returned from a year at Yale Medical School where she was a fellow in the Department of Psychiatry. In addition to her PhD and Masters in Clinical Psychology, Elizabeth has a Masters degree in human development from Harvard University. Although Elizabeth has a specialty in working with children, adolescents and families, she has experience in working with people of all ages who have difficulties with depression, anxiety (all forms - including OCD and phobias), grief, adjustment, parenting issues, motivation, self-esteem, relationships and trauma. Elizabeth currently divides her time between The Hills Clinic (on Thursdays and Fridays) and Macquarie University.
